Special Message Dear Fellow Patriots, You are visiting this web site because like millions of us Americans, we believe in liberty, and freedom to pursue life as set forth by our Constitution. The time has now arrived in which we fully understand that we must rightfully fight for those continued freedoms. The question is how do we do that? The first step to acquiring or maintaining anything is to have knowledge. We must understand how to maintain freedom and from whence it comes. That means understanding the Constitution and the documents our Founding Fathers established for us. Second, we must not let those who wish to usurp our freedoms tell us foolish things such as; those documents are meaningless and outdated.’ That fellow Patriots is foolishness. We also must not read false or reinvented history. Seek the truth.
Founding Father John Jay wisely advised: Every member of the State ought diligently to read and to study the constitution of his country. . . . By knowing their rights, they will sooner perceive when they are violated and be the better prepared to defend and assert them. . . The only way that more Congressmen will begin to study the Constitution is if "We The People" study it first and then, through the power of our voice, calls, letters, and votes, insist that our elected officials also know and observe it. The obligation is ours to keep and defend our country. The link on the right, 7 Constitution Classes - Free, will lead you to, as it says, a free opportunity to learn about our Constitution. You may also get a very nice pocket booklet on the Constitution from our Group Leader when you attend any or our meetings. To help Americans better understand the Constitution and the limited government set forth by the Founding Fathers, there are a number of places to secure educational materials. Wallbuilders recently produced a 57 minutes CD entitled "The Principles of Limited Government." What is limited government? Today many wrongly believe that it means less spending or a smaller government. The Founding Fathers had a different definition. In fact, Thomas Jefferson set forth five specific tasks for government in his First Inaugural Address – five things he said constituted "the sum of good government." Learn what Jefferson and other leading Founders identified as the proper responsibilities of government, and discover what citizens can do to return government to is limited role. You can find even more on their web site. Federal law establishes September 17 (the day the Constitution was signed in 1787) as Constitution Day, requiring that on that day every school receiving federal funding spend time studying the Constitution. Despite the law, a recent survey found that the majority of high school students had never heard of Constitution Day, and only ten percent could recall any such school celebration the prior year. Keep checking back as we build this web site with new and valuable information.
